Our 2026 Chili Cook-Off was a fantastic success, bringing together great flavors, friendly competition, and an amazing community spirit on April 4th. With 6 talented chili cooks and 7 incredible cornbread bakers, guests were treated to a delicious variety of entries that truly showcased local creativity and skill.
After careful judging across aroma, texture, heat, flavor, appearance, and aftertaste, we’re proud to celebrate our big winner—our very own Peter Ackers! His standout chili impressed across the board and earned top honors.
A heartfelt thank you goes out to all of our cooks and bakers who made this event so special. Your passion and participation are what make events like this memorable. We’re already looking forward to next year!
